Here’s everything I ate at a restaurant in Osaka serving one of the world’s most poisonous fish—pufferfish.

We started with the sashimi. It was definitely chewier than most sashimi I’ve had, but it tasted super fresh with the yuzu sauce.

Then we grilled the pufferfish ourselves. I loved how it got a nice char, and it was so good.

We even had pufferfish tempura, which had the perfect crunch.

But surprisingly, my favorite way to enjoy it was the rice porridge. It was super flavorful, had big chunks of meat, and it was easily my favorite dish.
